External façade refurbishment – New Bond Street, Mayfair, London

- A pavement scaffold gantry and protection fan were built above the front elevation sign.
- The gantry platform and fan were installed and double-boarded with polythene interlay to protect the public from falling debris.
- All flaking, loose paint and silicon were cleared, scraped, and removed.
- The frames and the vertical wooden profiles were sanded down and filled with filler and hardener where was applicable.
- The undercoat was applied (water-based for the wooden parts and oil-based for the metal frames), then new silicon.
- We used to finish two coats of Hammerite paint for the metal frames and Dulux hi-gloss for the wooden parts.
- All the debris and glass were cleared, removed, and safely disposed of.
- DOFF steam clean was done to remove all bio growth to the stonework. /We have not used any chemicals/.
- We reached and washed the retail facade.
- Window cleaning on completion.
